Mike and Alison Rose are the directors of Paradise Motorcycle Tours NZ. Kiwi’s by choice, English by birth, Alison and Mike have ridden all over this beautiful land during the last five years, and can’t wait to show it to you.
Mike has a passion for motorbikes and has ridden since he was a lad. He was blown away by the amazing roads and scenery in New Zealand and has accomplished his dream of sharing his passion of both bikes and New Zealand with fellow motorbike enthusiasts from around the world with Paradise Motorcycle Tours NZ. Mike is a qualified advanced motorcyclist and first aider. He is a born organizer and loves to get things right! He has a genuine interest in others and feels the greatest reward is seeing our visitors having the time of their lives.
Alison, a nurse by vocation with a great sense of humour and a love of people, is a recent convert to the art of motorcycling, passionate about New Zealand, its beauty and diversity. Alison, our ‘creative-systems’ person, likes nothing better than designing an itinery to fit a group’s (or individual’s) desires and budget.
Paul Morrison, a born and bred Kiwi whose idea of heaven is riding the fantastic roads of New Zealand, has the perfectly suited job of guiding our tours. He, like Mike, has ridden bikes all his life and has been described by our guests as ‘someone you would trust your life with’. He has a wicked sense of humour, a love of people and an in-depth knowledge of New Zealand. Paul will always go that bit further to make sure our guests have the time of their lives.
Trevor Stafford is tour guide extraordinaire and general factotum. He insisted on us including the following:
New Zealand, the South Pacific, a great place, empty roads, pollution free, wonderful scenery, warm friendly people, and lots of sheep, cows and trees - no wonder I always wanted to live here. I eventually made it in 1994 complete with family, car and bike. I’ve had ‘beemers’ since the age of 21 and had many enjoyable times with the UK BMW club and the International Motorcyclist Touring Club in Europe. New Zealand is maybe one of the world’s best kept secrets - once visited it secures a special place in peoples’ hearts.
For me Paradise Motorcycle Tours NZ encompasses that special unique mix of safe, good quality touring in a place that is familiar yet intriguing. Pollution free, clean fresh air, a laid back approach to life beckons those of us that want an unforgettable experience.
Then there’s Pickles, the company mascot and the cutest thing on four legs. He treats all our guests like long lost friends.
