Paradise Motorcycle Tours are a truly 'Clean and Green' New Zealand tour company. We are very proud of our beautiful New Zealand and we want to keep it that way.
We are the only motorcycle tour company in New Zealand that is carbon neutral. We achieve this by calculating our carbon dioxide emissions and counteracting those emissions by sponsoring tree planting in New Zealand to produce a 'carbon sink'. We have committed to planting twice the amount of trees in New Zealand each year than necessary to offset our emissions.
A Carbon Sink is a means of storing carbon for long periods of time. Hardwood trees are an excellent carbon sink as they continually 'filter' carbon out of the gasses in the atmosphere, locking it into the wood.
We carry containers for recyclable materials in our tour support vehicle. We collect all recyclable materials, drink cans, bottles etc from our guests during New Zealand tours and return them to base for recycling. We recycle all possible consumables from the bikes and mini bus. We recycle all paper, cardboard, toner and printer cartridges from our New Zealand office.
We use environmentally friendly cleaning products for our motorcycles and mini-bus.
