" We have just got back to Tasmania after a 12 day adventure of the South Island and feel it appropriate to thank Mike and Alison for their very professional attitude and friendly nature that has made our adventure something we will never forget. We had breakfast with them on our first day and it felt as though we had known them for years. They worked closely with us over several months to determine what would be the best itinerary for us to see as much of this beautiful island as possible. The bikes were fantastic, the accommodation outstanding and we were able to enjoy the ride without the worry of finding accommodation as it was all prebooked. Mike had also preprogrammed a GPS to guide us along the best motorbike roads possible and get us to our accommodation each day without any hassle. The amazing thing about dealing with Mike and Alison was they even thought of all the little things like having a taxi waiting for us when we arrived at Christchurch airport, made reservations at the Skyline restaurant, prebooked helicopter flight over the glaciers and suggestions in a printed itinerary of places to eat and sight see. We have no hesitation in recommending Paradise Motorcycle Tours to anyone as our experience with them from first contact right through to when we left the island has been nothing short of outstanding. "Alison and Mike were able to arrange a tour even with only two weeks notice, beat that ! I was impressed with the standard of service throughout and never once had any cause for concern. My unguided tour was arranged perfectly, I only had to rock up knowing it was all in place. The bike was virtually brand new and well maintained, the accommodation chosen by Alison and Mike was superb and their expert advice as to a choice of route and itinerary made the trip. The roads were superb and designed for biking with a noticable absence of traffic once I left Christchurch. Every day I found a road or scenery I thought I could not beat. "What initially attracted me to the 14 day North and South Island tour was the prospect of good weather, great roads, and fantastic scenery. I got that and much more - friendly and welcoming tour guides, wonderful food, really amazing landscape and great excursions off the bike.
The BMW I hired was incredibly economical and just ridden-in, all the bikes were almost brand new. Having a chase vehicle to carry luggage was a bonus, as it meant I didn’t need to ride with panniers, or keep extra gear with me - a luxury. The hotels were well chosen and very good quality.
I had a great time, the trip was excellent value and I have memories to last a lifetime."

"What an amazing experience! My friend and I came in late on a Saturday and had about 8hrs on a Sunday to ride, and Mike took care of that! The customer service was amazing. "I found you guys at Paradise really friendly and helpful from the outset. Loads of information and the booking process was really easy. For someone who didn’t really know New Zealand or where to go, the Sat Nav was a godsend especially in larger towns finding my hotel locations.
The route that you guys put together for me was just right, no particularly long days on the bike, 4 -5 hours a day was just about right, the Coromandel and National Park areas were particularly beautiful and some cracking roads...
All in all a great holiday, you and Mike were a great help, in fact I was quite taken with how friendly and welcoming all of you Kiwi’s were. Recommend Paradise to anyone who wants to have this kind of holiday (just don’t forget the waterproofs)."

"I have had an absolutely fantastic week doing 2,500 km. on the BMW 1200RT. We followed your suggested route most of the way and every day provided both beautiful scenery and amazing roads to enjoy the power and handling ability of the RT. Although I was initially afraid that the RT would be too heavy and boring for the small winding roads, it turned out to be the perfect bike for me. It handled very nicely and I didn’t have any physical discomforts during the tour, even though we did between 400 and 500 km. every day.
It was a big plus that both bike and gear was of high quality and in excellent condition. It kind of made the good experience complete. Finally I would like to
complement you on the excellent and very personal service that you and your wife provided me before and after the trip.
